- Volcanism:The process of magma and gases coming from earth's interior to the surface.

- Approximately 78% of the atmosphere is Nitrogen, 21% is Oxygen and 1% is considered "other".
- Weather and Climate:Weather includes temperature, rainfall, and humidity in the atmosphere. Climate is the weather in a particular area over a long period of time.

- Soil is a mixture of minerals, water, air, organic material, and possible organisms. Soil is the base for plants to grow and be nutrient rich. Three main types of soil include:sand, silt, and clay. Clay is the best for water storage, due to its tiny particles.
